Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Science intern to join our team at Dee Zee. As an Environmental Science intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of environmental science and contribute to the development of sustainable practices within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily functions of the department as assigned by the manager
  • Learn internal operations related to the field of internship
  • Provide general assistance and support within the department
  • Report progress to immediate supervisor throughout the length of the internship
  • Apply current education to identify areas for improvement and possible solutions
  • Make suggestions to leadership for streamlining systems and processes
  • Independently manage workload of project(s) assigned
  • Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environmental performance results and findings
Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree in a related field
  • No experience necessary; general knowledge of the field preferred
  • Must demonstrate computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office
