KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols specific to the plant environment.
  • Mechanical Oversight: Oversee all mechanical maintenance tasks and perform routine preventive maintenance evaluations.
  • Repair and Manufacturing: Execute repairs and fabricate components as per work directives, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of repair activities, tool utilization, and maintenance records.
  • Reporting: Deliver comprehensive weekly updates to the Planner regarding equipment repairs and necessary enhancements.
  • Problem Solving and Tool Expertise: Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and proficient use of tools and machinery.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct repairs on various machinery, including conveyors, mills, and material handling systems.
  • Hydraulic Knowledge and Alignment: Possess a basic understanding of hydraulics, interpret schematics, and ensure correct coupling alignment.
  • Autonomous Work: Operate independently without direct oversight, including responding to emergency calls as required.
  • SAP Proficiency: Generate notifications and work orders within the SAP system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; completion of a trade school or relevant training program is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven industrial maintenance experience is essential; familiarity with cement manufacturing processes and associated equipment is advantageous.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work standards and an excellent attendance record are essential.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Solid troubleshooting capabilities are necessary.

  • Candidates must comply with all safety regulations and properly utilize Holcim-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators. In accordance with applicable laws, employees required to wear respirators must maintain a clean-shaven face where the respirator seal meets the skin to pass fit tests.
