Job Summary

The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team at Premier Health Consultants. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining clinical standards, following company policies and procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation, including quality control and compliance logs.
  • Perform peripheral venipuncture under the direct order and supervision of a provider, as permitted by state legislation.
  • Initiate patient education plans according to individualized needs, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist with triage, check-in, assessment, and discharge of patients.
  • Administer medications per direct order and supervision of a provider.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, supplies, and facilities in a prudent and efficient manner.
  • Participate in department quality improvement activities, staff educational programs, and attend departmental meetings.
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant program completion, as applicable per state requirements.
  • Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or diploma.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to maintain and demonstrate proficiency of skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
