Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a full-time Pediatrician to join our team in the Bronx, NY. This role is vital in providing quality healthcare services to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
The Pediatrician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients within their specialty. Key duties include:
- Conducting patient histories and physical examinations, and prescribing appropriate treatments and medications based on established standards of care.
- Providing off-hours and hospital coverage for patients as required.
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives, including audits and reviews of medical records and procedures.
- Supervising clinical activities and ensuring accurate medical documentation within the department.
- Coordinating tests, referrals, and patient care outside the health center.
- Setting standards for preventive care and diagnostic screenings, and contributing to program development.
- Maintaining comprehensive and legible medical records.
- Participating in provider meetings and contributing to team discussions.
- Ensuring safe and effective performance while meeting productivity and patient satisfaction standards.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Valid medical license to practice in New York State
- Board Certified or Eligible
Experience:
Minimum of 2-4 years in a related field.
Compensation:
Salary range is between $190,000 and $200,000 annually.
Job Type:
Full-time position.
