We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a contingent clinical care role at our Medical Clinic in Apopka, FL. Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services, administer immunizations and injections, and provide patient education on vaccine counseling and safety practices.
- Assess patients during intake, take vital signs, and perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and retinopathy screening.
- Order equipment and prepare the clinic for optimal patient experience.
- Minimum of one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation.
- Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
