Commodity Buyer

We are looking for a Commodity Buyer to join our procurement team in the United States. The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $105,000 per year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and verifying purchase orders to ensure that they meet the required standards. This includes verifying forecast, stock, MOQ, and lead time. They will also need to follow up with opened POs and shipments from vendors.
A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of commodity purchase experience are essential requirements for this role. Proficiency in using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Words, and Outlook is also necessary. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective collaboration with vendors and stakeholders.
In addition to these technical skills, knowledge of manufacturing processes such as molding, stamping, castings, and machining is a plus. SAP and MRP software experience are also desirable.
