As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality care to our residents.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services provided by the unit.
- Mentorship and Development: Mentor and support less experienced nurses, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the unit is in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Must hold a valid State RN License and have at least 3 years of long-term care experience, with 2 years of charge nurse experience preferred.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong computer skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
