Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic, sports medicine, and vestibular rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with the physical therapy team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.
Requirements
  • Valid state license and/or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Registration or certification from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Ability to lift patients using biomechanical techniques and push wheeled equipment throughout the facility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
