Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at St. Luke's Health System. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security and Safety: Conduct regular patrols of the premises and grounds to prevent damage, fire, theft, and unauthorized access.

  • Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and report security, safety, and fire hazards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, answering questions and directing them to various services.
  • Parking Enforcement: Monitor parking areas and enforce parking regulations, issuing citations as necessary.
  • Leadership: Possess solid working knowledge of security procedures and provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior law enforcement experience
