About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our 3rd shift team at our Maspeth, NY shop. As a key member of our Fleet Maintenance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy-duty trucks, including brakes, air ride systems, electrical components, and suspension systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
  • Inspect and replace general components as required.
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay rate: $43.00 per hour based on experience and skillset.
  • Shift differential: $5.00 per hour.
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit.
  • Annual benefits and paid time off.
  • 11:00 PM start time, Sunday through Thursday.
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours.
  • Up to $1,000 in annual tool reimbursement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
  • Complete set of hand tools for a heavy-duty truck technician.
  • Vocational or technical training in diesel or heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with a 'can-do' attitude.
