Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Northfield Hospital + Clinics. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a compassionate and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for imaging exams by reviewing provider orders and notes, confirming the correct exam to be performed, accurately assessing patient needs, positioning patients appropriately for exams, and providing patient education.
  • Maintain accurate patient records by completing correct and timely entries in all electronic health systems and department-specific programs.
  • Practice accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work in a calm manner, anticipating work to be done and seeking to assist others to maximize productivity in both patient care and non-patient care departmental tasks.
  • Stay current in the field by enhancing personal professional skills and knowledge through CEUs, self-study, research, and dialogue, ensuring competency in all assigned exams and ability to easily float to assigned areas.
Requirements
  • RDMS - ARDMS registration in Abdomen or OB/GYN or ARDMS Registry eligible and completion within 6 months of hire.
  • RVT - ARDMS registration in Vascular or RVS - ARRT registration in vascular or completion of RVT/RVS within one year of hire.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (or obtain within six months of hire, company paid).
