Role Responsibilities

As a member of the Noir team, you will have the chance to express your unique personality, unleash your creativity, and deepen your understanding of cocktail culture. The ideal candidate is passionate about cocktails, wine, food, and brewing, possesses excellent communication skills, and can adapt to diverse situations. Team collaboration is essential, and a willingness to work harmoniously during busy service periods is crucial.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Prior experience in a bar or similar environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with order and payment systems is expected.
  • This role requires full mobility, quick-paced movement, and the ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is necessary.

Key Duties

  • Adhere to the standards and regulations of The Charles Hotel to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Complete required certifications related to the position, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers Safety.
  • Understand the organization of the restaurant and lounge, as well as the functions of each role.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the products and services offered by Noir and The Charles Hotel.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests with all food and beverage needs in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset as needed.
  • Become proficient in the operation of the P.O.S. system.
  • Attend to both bar and table guests.
  • Handle cashiering duties, including closing checks and completing end-of-shift paperwork.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties as assigned.
  • Keep tables and side stands stocked, tidy, and clean.
  • Carry out any additional tasks as requested by management.
