Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Focus Staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.

  • Job Type: Contract/Temporary/Travel
  • Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans, providing respiratory care, performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes, and promoting continuous quality improvement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating patient and recommending a treatment plan
  • Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Performing timely and accurate documentation
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement
  • Teaching and counseling patients/families
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist and maintain current CPR or BCLS certification. BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP certification is preferred.

  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as Repertory Therapist
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families
