Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Plano, Texas.

Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will perform high-quality IR procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the general supervision of a Radiologist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain a calm and helpful attitude even in stressful situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality IR procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Explain procedures to patients and put them at ease.
  • Provide services in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner in compliance with established System and regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain a calm and helpful attitude, even under times of stress, and take appropriate and reasonable steps to resolve issues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by limiting wait times, providing courteous service, remaining professional, reviewing patient satisfaction scores, and developing action plans when required.
Requirements
  • ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) certification is required.
  • ARRT-CI Cardiac-Interventional (ARRT-CI), ARRT-CV Cardiovasc-Inter Rad (ARRT-CV), ARRT-VI Interventional Rad (ARRT-VI) certification must be obtained within two (2) years of hire date.
