Job Summary

Interactive Brokers is seeking a motivated and analytical Client Operations - Security and Fraud Prevention Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our security and fraud prevention team, you will be responsible for proactive handling of client exceptional inquiries, handling escalations of client inquiries pertaining to IBKR's security system, and problem management with focus on security protocols and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Client Inquiries: Proactively handle client exceptional inquiries via call backs and verbal/video client verification.
  • Security System Escalations: Handle escalations of client inquiries pertaining to IBKR's security system via tickets.
  • Problem Management: Focus on security protocols and practices, and handle escalations of suspicious client activity or behavior to Senior SFP Analysts.
  • Fraud Cases and Trends: Proactively track fraud cases and trends realized.
  • Training and Awareness: Create on-the-job training and fraud awareness material.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 2+ years' experience in an information security or fraud prevention role.
  • BSc in STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and Information Security.
  • Proficient in Windows and/or macOS computer systems and basic office applications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the security industry as it relates to IBKR, including social engineering, fraud schemes, mobile security, and information security.
  • Languages: Fluency in English. Any additional language is a plus.

  • Navigating multiple computer applications while interacting with clients.
  • Personality: Self-confident, self-motivated, extroverted, flexible and able to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
