As a Healthcare Reception Specialist, you will be expected to:
Deliver exceptional customer service both on the phone and in personWelcome patients and visitors, assessing their needs and directing them appropriately.
Input demographic and insurance information accuratelySchedule and register patients, ensuring all required data is collectedRespond to telephone inquiries from patients and their representatives, providing information within your scope of practice.
Direct all other inquiries to the appropriate departments as necessary.Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances as indicated on insurance cards or as documented by billing staff. Update insurance information as it is received.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
