About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our team at Medi Home Health & Hospice in Alleghany (Sparta), NC.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills.
  • Evaluate patient needs regularly, develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans as necessary.
  • Initiate diagnostic, preventive, and rehabilitative procedures to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment, record observations, and communicate any changes in condition to relevant parties.
  • Counsel and educate patients and their families on home nursing procedures and other care requirements tailored to their specific needs.

Requirements:

  • Degree in accredited/certified registered nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • At least one year of direct patient care experience.
  • Prior home health experience is highly desirable.
  • Reliable transportation and company-required auto liability insurance.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary estimated at $65,000-$85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
