Job Summary

The Maintenance Assistant is a key member of the Aramark team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This role involves performing a variety of tasks to maintain and repair buildings and grounds, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Inspect assigned areas on a regular basis and perform maintenance tasks as needed to keep facilities in good working condition.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Complete daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair various fixtures and hardware, such as doors, windows, and minor appliances, as well as office equipment and other facilities-related items.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report any major maintenance needs and recommend corrective action as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
  • Adherence to Safety Protocols: Adhere to Aramark's safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and clients.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and/or stand for extended periods, as well as wear uniforms and/or use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support business operations.
