Position: Medical Front Desk Receptionist
Join our thriving family healthcare practice as a dedicated member of our administrative team. We are seeking a full-time professional to enhance our patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage appointment scheduling using our electronic medical records system.
- Answer phone calls with a friendly and knowledgeable approach.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with inquiries.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in all interactions.
- Process patient charges during visits and during downtime.
- Maintain electronic filing of patient charts.
- Ensure accurate demographic information and make necessary updates.
- Collect co-pays and process patient payments efficiently.
- Facilitate referrals through designated online platforms.
- Availability to work one evening per week and occasional weekends is required.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Experience with NaviNet and electronic medical records is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
