Job Title: Senior Plumbing Systems Engineer

At Synerfac, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plumbing Systems Engineer to lead the design and engineering of plumbing systems for healthcare, higher education, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed plumbing plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems with overall project designs.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and ensure design specifications and code compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Review and approve plumbing system designs, calculations, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely project milestones and deliverables delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve design processes and outcomes continuously.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements, progress, and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in plumbing system design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification is a plus.
