Job Summary
FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team in Porterville. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
- Participate in admissions decisions and conduct pre-admission assessments as needed.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the delivery of compassionate and individualized care to residents, including the prevention of pressure wounds and maintenance of optimal resident functions.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of practice.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school.
- At least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term or acute healthcare setting.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
