Job Overview

Chicago Tube and Iron Company is a leading metals distribution and fabrication industry player. With a strong track record of profitability and growth, we are seeking a skilled Sales Manager to lead our Wisconsin Division in Fond du Lac.

About the Role

This key position will be responsible for directing sales efforts for the division, overseeing inside and outside sales teams, and maintaining relationships with major accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and motivate sales personnel, evaluate their performance, and provide guidance
  • Maintain contact with top-tier customers, including distributors and specific territories
  • Personally service select accounts, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Division General Manager on pricing, policy, and marketing activities
  • Contribute to product decision-making, focusing on profit and growth goals
  • Ensure controlled sales expenses while meeting profit objectives
  • Administer advertising, sales promotions, and public relations initiatives impacting the division's market area
  • Prepare regular and special reports, including quota reports
  • Oversee company cars and equipment assigned to sales personnel
Requirements and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or Marketing is required, along with relevant sales management experience. Experience in the metals distribution business is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, computer proficiency, and excellent work practices.
