Respiratory Therapist Position

StoneSprings Hospital Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patients for therapeutic response and notify providers as necessary.
  • Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients and respond to emergent patient situations.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
