Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) on the 4 Green Telemetry unit at Truman Medical Center. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure the highest level of quality care. Your duties will include taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures. If you have a passion for delivering excellent patient care and working in a fast-paced hospital setting, this may be the perfect opportunity for you

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; BCLS certification when hired, with certification kept current for continued employment.
  • Unlicensed Assistive Personnel training or waiver of training requirements based on competency demonstration, licensure candidate status, or documented experience as a nurse assistant or emergency medical technician.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and patients alike.
