Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Educator/Infection Preventionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and delivering quality internal training and educational programs to all staff, assisting with the development of new clinical programming, and providing direct patient care through interventions as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on infection control and prevention
  • Assist with the development of new clinical programming for inpatient services
  • Provide direct patient care through interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure proper training of staff
  • Develop and utilize tools to measure clinical success and outcomes
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a BSN and at least three years of experience in psychiatric/behavioral nursing care. Experience with formal and informal teaching of adult learners is preferred. The successful candidate will be a team player who is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and community.
