Job Summary:

The Electrophysiology Technician will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. This includes preparing patients for procedures, operating equipment, and assisting physicians during procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety.
  • Operate equipment such as electrocardiogram machines and defibrillators.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by providing support and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedures.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a post-secondary program in electrophysiology technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as an Electrophysiology Technician.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
