As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. In this dynamic and patient-centric environment, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with customers and patients, while utilizing your skills and talents to serve and care for them.


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the performance of various tasks such as retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine, and checking for possible interactions.


As a Pharmacy Technician, you will also be responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and assisting with the operation of pharmacy systems and cash registers. Additionally, you will model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the performance of various tasks such as retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine, and checking for possible interactions.
  • Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and assisting with the operation of pharmacy systems and cash registers.
  • Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
  • Developing strong relationships with customers and patients, while utilizing your skills and talents to serve and care for them.
  • Assisting with the operation of pharmacy systems and cash registers, including processing manual claims for third-party program prescription services.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Company asset protection techniques, and filing claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.
  • Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance.
