Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect III to join our team at Montgomery County Government. As a key member of our Capital Improvement team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing capital improvement construction projects, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations of County capital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee capital improvement construction projects, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations of County capital infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including County departments, regulatory agencies, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with County policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
Requirements
  • Seven (7) years of experience in Architecture under a licensed professional is preferred.
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture.
  • License in Architecture through NCARB Level III.
  • Valid drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of local government operations and administration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
