Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Driver to join our transportation team at Fastenal. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our branches and customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor trailer or straight truck to transport goods across state lines
  • Unload freight at each stop along your route, utilizing a handheld scanner and other equipment as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Interact with our shipping and receiving departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment within our equipment
  • Inspect and report defects or issues in equipment
  • Comply with DOT and Fastenal safety regulations
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and maneuver up to 150 pounds
  • Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines
  • Ability to maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior driving work experience
  • Prior experience operating a forklift
