Job DescriptionAs a Catheterization Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, including the setup and operation of equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients.
- Assist the physician during procedures, including monitoring the patient's vital signs and providing support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a related field, such as radiologic technology or nursing.
- Current certification as a registered radiologic technologist (RT) or a registered nurse (RN).
- Experience working in a cath lab or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
