Job Title: Senior Cathodic Protection Project Engineer

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cathodic Protection Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Cathodic Protection group, you will be responsible for leading complex projects and providing technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of our clients' pipeline protection needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage Cathodic Protection projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Cathodic Protection plans, including design, installation, and testing of rectifiers, anodes, and CP test points/stations.
  • Conduct site investigations, gather data, and perform continuity tests and soil resistivity measurements to ensure the integrity of our clients' pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and sales, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their Cathodic Protection requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service and expertise.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Cathodic Protection, with a strong background in project management and technical expertise.
  • NACE CP level 3 Certification or working towards.
  • Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proficiency in electronic mapping systems.
  • Rectifier Training and pipeline/oil field experience are considered assets.
