Job Overview

Our Respite Aide role provides in-home respite care to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, allowing primary caregivers to take a break or period of respite.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support, engaging individuals in their chosen activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-home respite care to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.">
  • Maintain accurate records of service delivery, including documentation and incident reports.">
  • Collaborate with primary caregivers, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.">
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.">

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.">
  • One year experience and/or education in human services preferable.">
  • Prior experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities and autism is preferred.">
  • Valid NYS driver's license/dependable vehicle.">
  • Demonstrates basic reasoning skills.">

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $16.00 per hour. We also offer competitive benefits, including paid time off, medical insurance, and retirement plans.
