Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Inspector to join our team at Nesco Resource. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in inspecting solder connections on surface mount and plated thru hole components, as well as coating of Printed Wiring Boards (PWBs) in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working on the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available on weekends. The successful candidate will be responsible for visually inspecting circuit card assemblies to ensure they meet manufacturing and industry specifications, including IPC and related reference documents and standards.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions. They will also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively interface and diplomatically address quality defects with all levels of manufacturing.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of prior experience inspecting solder connections on surface mount and plated thru hole components, as well as coating of PWBs in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
- Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions.
- Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Personal Computers
