Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at a hospital in Bakersfield, California. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Summary:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as postpartum hemorrhage or fetal distress.
Requirements:
  • Current California Registered Nurse License / Certification
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 1 to 2 years of recent relevant experience
