About Wide River Winery:
As the 6th largest winery in Iowa, we produce and distribute approximately 85,000 bottles annually.

Our picturesque location on a bluff provides stunning views of the Mississippi River, making it a unique place to work.


Role Responsibilities:

As a Wine Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their visit is both enjoyable and memorable. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming customers and providing exceptional service
  • Pouring wine tastings and sharing knowledge about our offerings
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the tasting area
  • Processing customer transactions efficiently

Key Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills with guests and team members
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in dining or retail sales is preferred
  • Knowledge of wine is a plus
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented and hard-working
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to verify customer age for alcohol service
  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, including weekends

Compensation:

Starting at $10 per hour plus tips, with a generous employee discount on wine. Paid vacation time is also available.
