Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team at the City of Portland. Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, using plumbing tools, and measuring, cutting, bending, threading, and brazing pipes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and following safe working practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial water, streams, and gas, as well as knowledge of state laws, city codes, and regulations related to sanitation and public health in plumbing work.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $42.34 - $47.40 hourly, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, life insurance, and retirement plans.
