We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Packer to join our 3rd shift operations team at Novolex. As a Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our packaging operations.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Pack Product: Inspect and pack product per customer specification using safe work practices.
- Notify and Assist: Notify the Operator when product does not meet quality specifications; assist with resolution.
- Complete Daily Paperwork: Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork.
- Set Up Work Area: Set up work area using materials as specified in the work order and replenish materials as needed.
- Assist with Set-Up and Change Over: Assist the Operator with set-up and/or change over activities as directed.
- Maintain Work Area: Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Comply with Company Policies: Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures.
- Engage in Safety Programs: Actively engage in safety programs.
- Assist Team Members: Assist other team members as needed.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Eligibility: Eligible to work in the United States.
- Background and Drug Screen: Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
- Overtime: Work overtime as required.
- Training: Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
- Accommodation: Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
- Commitment to Safety: The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.
