Job Summary

Kable Staffing is seeking a skilled Downstream Operator to join our team in Bellefontaine, OH. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating automated equipment to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate automated case packers, case erectors, conveyor systems, vacuum loaders, and other equipment to meet production goals.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of downstream equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure accurate material requirements and customer specifications are met.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Assist in documenting production losses and corrugate losses.
  • Work towards achieving reliability, quality, scrap, and safety goals.
  • Complete mandatory reports and adhere to BOS and SAP standards.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain housekeeping and GMP standards.
  • Attend required training sessions and team meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with production, quality, and group leaders.
Requirements
  • 18 years old
  • Previous experience in a distribution center environment is helpful.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently lift cartons above or below shoulder level.
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and/or stoop on a repetitive basis.
  • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Maintain flexibility regarding job assignments.
  • Pass a background check and drug test.
