Staff Accountant Opportunity

Our company is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in the Accounting and Finance department. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate and timely financial reports, as well as supporting the preparation of balance sheets and income statements for senior management. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books
- Preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Providing comprehensive accounting services for contracted services to other water and wastewater systems

This is a hybrid work opportunity with three shared days in the office and two days of remote work. Eligible employees for hybrid work are required to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We offer a competitive benefits package and 401(K) plan. The estimated salary range for this position is $60,500 - $96,800 annually.

Education and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field required.
• Effective communication and analytical skills required.
• General MS Office software skillset required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and accounting experience preferred.
