About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Endoscopy to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in endoscopic nursing.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a surgical or endoscopy setting.
- Current BLS certification and ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
