We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Endoscopy Technologist to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support for our endoscopy patients.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain professional accountability and technical support for the provision of patient care for endoscopy patients.
- Prepare the endoscopy field, obtain necessary equipment, and uphold patient safety standards.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses with patient care duties and special procedures.
- Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties, ranging from limited to complex tasks.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 year of experience in outpatient centers or rural locations.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to understand English both written and spoken.
