About the Role

Franklin Dental & Braces - a Benevis company is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our professional dental staff with treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Deliver high-quality and compassionate care to every patient, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their visit.
  • Operational Readiness: Maintain the operational readiness of the hygiene bay and operatory rooms, ensuring all equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and disinfected.
  • Assisting Professional Dental Staff: Assist with treatment, including suctioning, holding retractors, and suture cutting during surgical procedures.
  • Documentation: Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient charts.
  • Education and Training: Educate patients in oral hygiene instruction and provide postoperative instructions.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from a senior high school or GED equivalent required.
  • Certifications: X-ray certification preferred according to State and individual practices. Certified dental assistant credentials preferred according to State and individual practices.
  • Language Skills: Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus (location dependent).
