Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Crystal Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and/or advanced practice providers in the clinic setting, including rooming patients, taking medical histories, and completing thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Prepare and administer injections, as well as assist with procedures such as the application and removal of casts and splints.
  • Provide patient education on physician-prescribed plans of care, including the use of durable medical equipment.
  • Ensure that patient charts are complete, current, and accurately documented, and that proper patient forms are entered into the computer.
  • Monitor patient waiting areas, make coffee, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Collect co-pays and balance cash drawers, as well as gather information for outside testing and obtain authorizations from insurance companies.
  • Provide backup coverage and assist in daily office routine as needed, and maintain front office equipment and order supplies within budgetary constraints.
Requirements
  • Current and valid license to practice Practical Nursing in the State of Ohio.
  • Authorized to administer medications by The State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification within three months of hire.
  • Three to five years of experience in the field or profession, with prior front desk experience in a medical office preferred.
Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
