Job Summary

As a skilled Carpenter at BELFOR Property Restoration, you will play a vital role in our disaster recovery and property restoration services. With extensive carpentry experience and the ability to work independently, you will be responsible for providing operational support in reconstruction efforts for clients. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing effective solutions to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site assessments to identify reconstruction needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with BELFOR Estimators to develop scope and project plans.
  • Perform tasks related to floodcutting, salvaging, and labeling baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of various carpentry subsets, including framing, cabinetry, trim, etc.
  • Attend and complete shrink wrap training and participate in 4 projects containing shrink wrap.
  • Develop ability to identify different types of insulation, their thickness, and their respective R-value.
  • Apply learned skills and materials knowledge to daily tasks.
  • Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition.
  • Maintain attention to detail and ensure compliance with BELFOR standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and participate in BELFOR-sponsored operations and safety training courses as required.
  • Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Be available to work nights and weekends as requested and travel periodically.
