About the Role:

The Veterinary Technician at North Penn Animal Hospital, Inc. is a dedicated professional responsible for providing top-notch care to our outpatient patients. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong passion for animal welfare and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Support: Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with routine laboratory tests, procedures, and patient care tasks.
  • Client Service: Provide excellent communication and education to clients on preventative healthcare, including vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention, nutrition, and wellness care.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records, update inventory, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a veterinary-related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.

Work Environment:

This role requires working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with potentially aggressive animals, loud noises, and odors typical of a veterinary outpatient setting.
