Senior Histotechnologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Histotechnologist to join our team in the Pathology Department at the University of Miami/UHealth. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

• Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examinations and handle complex jobs involving immunohistochemistry.
• Maintain and review quality control in assigned laboratory facilities.
• Determine the acceptability of testing results and instrument function.
• Maintain all equipment and place orders for reagents and materials.
• Maintain records of samples, including sample accessioning and paraffin block and slide files.

• Associate's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
