Production Control Specialist

Job Summary

This role is responsible for assisting with all functions of the Production Control department, overseeing new program launch activities, and coordinating with various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive production systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and scheduling production activities
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth product launches
  • Manage kanban system and track inventory levels
  • Perform daily administration tasks, including data entry and reporting
  • Analyze and resolve production issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field required
  • Minimum 4 years of Production Control experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Strong understanding of Toyota Production System (TPS) and lean manufacturing principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Toyota launch systems and requirements
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Understanding of quality management and control systems
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents
