Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer/Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and related technologies, with experience in designing and implementing scalable and efficient web applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining back-end services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, JPA using Hibernate, and other related technologies. They will also develop, test, and deploy front-end features using JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Node JS).

In addition, the candidate will create and maintain unit test cases using Mockito, Jest, and collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces. They will ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, and experience in software development life cycle using Java. They will also have proven experience as a Fullstack Developer or similar role, with strong knowledge of back-end frameworks such as Spring Boot and JPA using Hibernate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of back-end frameworks such as Spring Boot and JPA using Hibernate
  • Experience working with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and related technologies
  • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React JS, Redux
  • Familiarity with database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and development
  • Experience on cloud solutions e.g., PCF, AWS, Azure
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Good to Have:

  • Experience with OpenShift / ARO
  • Good to have a knowledge of Play framework
  • Good to have a knowledge of Yugabyte
  • CI/CD & DevOps activities- Jenkins pipelines, Integrated code scans and vulnerability remediations
