Senior Financial Aid Consultant

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Aid Consultant, your main duty will be to deliver outstanding customer service and financial aid assistance to enrolled students. You will adhere to all accreditation and federal guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of assessing student needs, guiding them through the financial aid process, and complying with institutional policies and procedures.

Key Duties
  • Engage with accepted students through various communication channels
  • Provide support to students and parents post-campus tour regarding tuition and financial options
  • Assist in the completion of FAFSA applications
  • Guide students and parents in preparing necessary enrollment documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial aid applications
  • Maintain attention to detail
  • Be open to constructive feedback
  • Participate in departmental events and meetings
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service
  • At least 2 years in Financial Aid
  • Experience with managing 40+ enrollments per start
Basic Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
Physical Demands
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to navigate various departments within the facility.

Salary Information
The salary for this position is $25.00 per hour.
