Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
- Eligible for Sign-on Bonus (2-year commitment required/Internal candidates not eligible for sign-on)
- Annual Bonus based on both organizational and individual performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all operational activities of the Endoscopy department.
- Ensure that endoscopic services align with the hospital's safety, quality, and financial objectives.
- Support the operational needs of the Endoscopy unit and collaborate with other departments as necessary.
- Plan and coordinate high-quality nursing care in accordance with the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Provide leadership and foster collaboration among clinical staff while upholding professional nursing standards.
- Encourage shared governance and uphold nursing responsibilities that guide nursing practices across the hospital.
Daily Duties:
- Manage daily clinical operations and staffing for the Endoscopy unit.
- Evaluate and optimize workflow efficiency, adjusting staffing and assignments as needed.
- Oversee RN and support staff scheduling to guarantee adequate patient care coverage.
- Act as a liaison for patient care coordination and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Director of Patient Care Services to develop and assess Quality Improvement Projects in Endoscopy.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of clinical staff.
- Engage in staff retention efforts in partnership with the Administrative Director of Patient Care Services.
- Conduct employee evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Serve as a clinical resource for nursing and support staff.
- Exhibit professional leadership and promote a positive image of the department and organization.
- Act in the capacity of Director as delegated.
- Perform duties of Endoscopy RN as required.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Current CO RN License or eligibility to obtain.
- BSN required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of RN experience in Endoscopy, with advanced Endoscopy experience preferred.
- Progressive leadership experience is preferred.
